Load testing on the Google Cloud Platform

Use Flood to orchestrate, execute, and monitor load tests on the Google Cloud Platform

We're excited to welcome another cloud provider to the Flood lineup, giving you even more options for running your load tests. You can now use Flood to run load tests on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Many of you have requested an integration with Google Cloud, citing many of its strengths:

We think that adding support for GCP instances opens up a lot of opportunities for flooders wanting to take advantage of these benefits.

Using Flood with Google Cloud

You'll notice a new Google Cloud section in the Integrations page while you're logged into Flood:

You'll need to add your GCP service account key to allow Flood to access your account on your behalf. Once you've done this, you'll be able to start grids and floods right from the Flood interface you're already using.

For more details on how to set up Flood to use your GCP account, check out our documentation or follow along with the video below:

Anyone with a Flood subscription, including a free one, can use Google Cloud instances at no extra cost from Flood; however, GCP usage may incur separate costs.

GCP is the third cloud provider that we support at Flood, after Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
